Every hour carries the job and cost code it was worked against, chosen when the shift starts, not reconstructed at month-end.
True cost per hour
Know what each truck and machine actually costs to run, per hour, on one page: the number that decides whether to rent, own, or retire it.
Hours by job
See the hours worked against each job while the work is fresh, and stop paying for hours nobody can account for. Job-by-job cost is coming soon.
DVIR pre-trips
Pre-trip inspections from the phone, tied to the machine and the operator, with photos of any defect for the office to review.
Payroll hours
Hours come out coded to the job, with overtime by the workweek. There’s no payroll export yet: your payroll file is set up during onboarding from one of your past payroll exports.
Geofenced, and saved without signal
Clock-ins geofenced to the site and device-stamped. Punches taken without signal are saved on the phone and sync later. Any that reach Milepost more than 10 minutes after they were taken are flagged as sent late.
Common questions
Yes. Milepost is a free iPhone and Android app (in pilot) for the phone they already carry. A shared wall-station kiosk covers anyone without a phone.
Not yet. Your payroll file is set up during onboarding from one of your past payroll exports. Until then, each person's hours and the hours by cost code download as a CSV.
No. It’s time by job, equipment cost per hour and pre-trips in one system. Job-by-job cost is coming soon.
